Each year, the Teams of Our Lady gather figures from their Super-Regions (SR) and Attached Regions (RR) to follow the life of the Movement. Here are the highlights of the 2026 statistics, based on 2025 data collected in 2026.

Trends 2017-2025

  • Teams: a record 15,281 teams in 2025 (13,575 in 2017), i.e. +12.6%.
  • Couples: 77,997 in 2025, the highest level of the period (+13.7% since 2017).
  • Widows and widowers: 2,941 in 2025, +16.2% since 2017, a larger increase than for couples, which points to an ageing age pyramid.
  • Spiritual counsellors: 9,683 in 2025, the highest level since 2017 (+3.7%).
  • Spiritual advisors: a very irregular curve, with another sharp drop in 2025; the underlying data should be checked locally.

Key takeaways

  • Teams without spiritual support: 2,246 teams (15%) have neither a spiritual counsellor nor a spiritual advisor. 13 of 21 SR/RR exceed 10%, including the 5 largest SR. The rate reaches 65% for SR USA, 47% for Oceania and 38% for Transatlantic.
  • Ageing of the teams: 37% of teams beyond piloting are 10 years old or less (40% five years ago, 38% ten years ago), and 32% have more than 20 years of existence (30% and 28% respectively).
