May the joy and peace of the Lord Jesus be in the heart of each one of you!
Let’s never stop celebrating. Every day, only the awakening brings with it a reason to celebrate and be grateful to our creator. A proverb whose author we do not know says “A shared joy is a double joy, a shared sorrow is half a sorrow”. As we experienced a few days ago at the Virtual Meeting of the ERI and the International College, the community celebration is a balm that, in the strength of prayer, breathes encouragement to continue the journey with joy, feeling welcomed, loved and supported by this beautiful community of the Teams of Our Lady that is a beacon that leads and guides us.
On September 18, the Teams of Our Lady will commemorate the 24th anniversary of the death of Father Henri Caffarel, founder of our Movement.
It is a special day of prayer, thanking the Lord for him, for having created the pedagogy of our Movement, asking his intercession in this difficult moment that all humanity is going through, and imploring the Lord to canonize him, because he has been an example of missionary discipleship, a prophet of marriage for our times, for the actuality of his message.
We ask all team members to join in prayer, each at the time that suits him/her best, and in the depths of their hearts, with all their faith, to ask the Holy Spirit for all the Spiritual Advisors, couples and widows of our beloved Movement, so that they may continue to be a sign of hope for our Church and for our society.
